FIROZA BARI DISABLED CHILDREN HOSPITAL(FBDCH)

History

FBDCH was established in 1961. It is the prime focusing program of Bangladesh Council for Child Welfare- BCCW .It is located in it’s main complex at 22/1 Topkhana Road, Dhaka-1000 and engaged in rendering services to the Person with Disability (PWD) specially the children with disability.
FBDCH provides physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation and support services focusing on physical, emotional, social, psychological aspects. It promotes the development of skilled personnel in health care and rehabilitation in the country.
It promotes empowerment of disabled peoples through community based services, advocacy, networking and also raises awareness on disability issues nationally.

Mission

To develop a model project for PWD and promote an environment where all PWD (men&women ) have equal access to health, rehabilitation, education, employment and information.
