Established in 14, September1957, the then East Pakistan Council for Child Welfare , now renamed as Bangladesh Council for Child Welfare – BCCW is the pioneering development organization in the field of child welfare in the country.
It’s get registration from Social Welfare Department of East Pakistan as a National Organization. BCCW is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political and development organization committed to the welfare of the children in general and the children with disability ( CWD ) in particular.
With a view to provide general education about health and nutrition to the disabled children and to create awareness among the attendances, guardians and their family members BCCW has started Health Education Program for the patients’ and attendance from 2004. A health educator has appointed to make the program effective and successful.
Started from 16 January 1961 now the 54-beded Feroza Bari Disabled Children Hospital renders services to the children with disability (CWD).
